Delinquent Savants is a Web3-enabled consulting platform for high-IQ individuals to solve hard scientific and social problems.

The Delinquent Savants service is a natural outgrowth of Todreamalife consulting services. We discovered that our consultants often answered clients’ questions within the first 30-minute consult and looked for ways to make that process more efficient.

The service has two aspects. For clients, we are democratizing access to high-performing high-IQ individuals. The intent is to reduce the barriers to discussing cross-disciplinary technical problems. Experts are most useful when a question is undefined, or in early-stage project design — when parties are making big decisions in novel projects with no data to support them.

For consultants, we wished to redefine popular conceptions of how a genius looks, talks, and thinks. High-IQ individuals can be competent in a wide variety of disciplines, and their abilities are often most apparent when they first analyze a problem. While these individuals may have a primary discipline, they often feel prevented from working creatively by the false notion that someone can only be good at one thing.

You might call this service the anti-McKinsey. We feel strongly that the diversity of ways genius is expressed in the world is often artificially culled, or constrained by sociodemographic factors. Some geniuses don’t have degrees, are post-incarcerated, or work in countries where they were never formally trained. These autodidacts still may have much to contribute as they think outside the box, tend to be radically honest, and can inform on undercapitalized markets.

Under the principle that you teach what you want to learn, we also promote high-IQ autodidacts from disadvantaged backgrounds under our technologist apprentice Techrentice program — a paid internship sponsored by our spinoff nonprofit Empulsive Ink.
